Please join us for our our skill-enhancing workshop series with an opportunity to make a positive impact in Muskoka's Cancer Space this winter with Enliven Cancer Care Muskoka. Note this is a graduated learning series so please plan to attend all 4 interactive, sponsored online sessions.

Educational workshop series (January and February Offerings Available)

Learn new skills such as how to have a coaching conversation using appreciative inquiry, how to provide peer support and how to help others navigate to find the resources they need, as part of asset-based community development. Please note the webinar content, as described below, is the same for both offerings (e.g., 1st offering will include webinars 1 to 4).

1st offering: Wednesdays at 1:30 to 3:30 pm starting January 11, 2023

2nd offering: Wednesdays at 5:30 to 7:30 pm starting February 22, 2023

Spots are open to community members who would like to learn more about empowering the resilience of Muskoka's cancer space as well as those that want to heed a call to action and contribute their talents, gifts and/or strengths to support cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and health care providers.

Call to Action

Make a positive impact in Muskoka's Cancer Space by utilizing your newly enhanced skills by signing up with Enliven Cancer Care to become a volunteer at the end of the workshop series. This co-design opportunity will enable you to become an active advocate and support for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers utilizing your self-identified talents, gifts and strengths.

Meet the Collaborators

Enliven's mission is to create community by providing proactive self-care services that educate and support cancer patients, survivors, caregivers. Enliven seeks to create opportunities for health care providers to connect and replenish, encouraging an aligned approach to cancer care in Muskoka.

Connectedness Coaching inspires intentional acts of kindness. It aims to reduce social isolation and improve individual wellbeing. Through appreciative inquiry and promoting meaningful engagement in the larger community, Connectedness Coaching empowers community members and organizations to explore and enhance their resiliency.
